I am reacting to a very strong email I received yesterday. NOW, the women's rights organization, is demanding the removal of Larry Summers' name from consideration as Secretary of the Treasury. They are insisting that the mistake he made four years ago

  • NOW is correct. Summers showed himself to be a chauvinist when president of Harvard. He also is a product of GS as our current Secy of the Treasury. Summers can aid in the transition planning for the economy but should not be the next Secy of the Treasury.
